Bicester Village Welcomes The UK’s First Cecconi’s Outside London

Bicester Village and Soho House & Co are delighted to announce the opening of Cecconi’s at the luxury shopping destination. From late November, the classic-contemporary restaurant will bring a fresh taste of northern Italy to the Oxfordshire countryside, giving fans of the original Cecconi’s in Mayfair good reason to venture beyond the British capital. The restaurant is the first in the UK to be situated outside London and, in the Village, it joins farmshop restaurant & cafe also by Soho House & Co.

As the perfect complement to the heady mix of high-end fashion and lifestyle brands on offer at Bicester Village, Cecconi’s focuses as much on service and ambience as it does on using the finest ingredients. Handmade pastas, oven-baked pizzas, fresh seafood and cicchetti and wholesome, seasonal mains are matched by a stylish setting, buzzy atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff.

Founded in 1978 by Enzo Cecconi, general manager of the famous Cipriani in Venice, Cecconi’s brought to London the theatricality of food and the spectacle of five-star hospitality so loved by the Italian cognoscenti. The restaurant was an overnight success and a magnet for both celebrities and royalty (a waiter recalls serving members of four different royal families on four different tables one lunchtime during Ascot week).

In 2005, Soho House & Co took ownership of the Mayfair restaurant and, after popular demand, opened sister restaurants in West Hollywood, Miami, Istanbul, Berlin, Barcelona, New York and Mumbai.
